Job summary

RSL LifeCare is hiring a Casual Catering Assistant for our residential care homes in Picton, NSW. You will support the catering team, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and help deliver a high-quality dining experience for residents and visitors.

You will work in a supportive environment, with emphasis on compassion, teamwork, and excellent communication. Prior catering or hospitality experience is beneficial, and Australian Working Rights are required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors
• Comply with Food Safety Standards
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors
• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience

Australian Working Rights

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
