Job summary

Fresh Hope Communities operates a Residential Care Service in Coffs Harbour and is seeking a Catering Assistant. You will support residents at mealtimes, prepare meals, assist with kitchen duties, and deliver a home-like dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or care services preferred.
• Warm, approachable, communicates clearly with residents and team members.
• Comfortable using IT systems and learning new tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and drinks for residents.
• Distribute meals to residents and assist the chef with meal prep, cleaning and kitchen duties.
• Provide dining room service and support residents during mealtimes.
• Demonstrate values of kindness, integrity, connection and optimism in interactions.
