Job summary

RSL LifeCare in Narrandera is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to support the on-site catering team and deliver high-quality dining experiences for residents and visitors.

You will work closely with the Head Chef, adhere to Food Safety Standards, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and dining area while providing friendly, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to provide high quality catering services for residents and their visitors.
• Comply with Food Safety Standards.
• Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment; dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment and dining areas.
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, their families and visitors.
• Serve residents meals and snacks ensuring that the correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs.
• Build strong and productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience.

Qualifications in catering and hospitality or related work experience are beneficial but not essential. We can help you learn and develop in the role.

Australian Working Rights:

It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
