Job summary

RSL LifeCare Limited is seeking a Casual Cleaning Assistant for Residential Care in Austral. You will help maintain a clean and safe living environment for veterans and seniors, supporting residents with compassion and respect.

You will follow cleaning schedules, replenish supplies, and ensure safe handling of chemicals while upholding WHS policies. The role offers casual hours within a not-for-profit aged care setting, with opportunities across our homes.

• Adherence to general cleaning schedule ensuring all areas area maintained at an acceptable level of cleanliness.
• Check and replenish supplies such as liquid soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc.
• Check supply of cleaning chemicals and fill containers as required.
• Spot clean spills.
• Ensure safe handling and use of chemicals.
• Comply with relevant RSL LifeCare WHS policies, procedures, and reasonable instruction.
• Maintain a safe work environment and take reasonable care for others’ health and safety (including visitors, Community members, team members and contractors).
