We have a casual Disability Support Worker positions available across our SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes in Cannonvale, QLD, offering a mix of day, afternoon and sleepover supports. To be considered for this role, you will need to have open availability, including the ability to work sleepover shifts.
Working within our SIL homes in Cannonvale, you will provide person-centred support to people with disability, helping them live as independently as possible and achieve their individual goals. No two days are the same. You could be supporting someone to develop daily living skills, preparing a meal together, attending an appointment, enjoying a community outing or providing personal care — every day brings an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
We are looking for a calm, compassionate and professional Disability Support Worker who is confident supporting people with a range of support needs, including complex needs and behaviours of concern. You will be comfortable providing personal care and supporting daily living activities, while building positive and trusting relationships with the people we support. The ability to remain calm under pressure, respond appropriately to behaviours of concern and work as part of a team is essential.
