Endeavour Foundation in Gympie region is seeking a casual Disability Support Worker to join our SIL homes. You will provide support across days, afternoons and sleepover shifts, with open availability required.
You will help people with disabilities live more independently, supporting daily living tasks, personal care, meal planning and community activities. Expect variety and a student-focused, compassionate team environment.
We have a casual position available across our SIL homes in our Gympie region offering a mix of days, afternoons and sleepover supports. To be considered for this role, you will be required to have open availability, including the ability to work sleepover shifts.
Working within our SIL (Supported Independent Living) homes across Gympie, you will provide support, assisting people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, whether they have complex needs or just need some additional support at home. No two days will be the same - you may hear that phrase a lot but here at Endeavour Foundation, you will see it in action!
Our ideal candidate is a calm, compassionate, and professional Disability Support Worker with experience supporting individuals with complex support needs and behaviours of concern. You will be confident providing personal care and supporting daily living tasks while creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The ability to remain calm under pressure, respond appropriately to challenging situations, and build trusting relationships is essential for success in this role.
