Ayrshire Independent Living Network is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock. The role involves companionship, accompanying him on various activities, and assisting with personal care and meals as needed. A full driving licence is required to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell.

Hours are casual as and when required, with an hourly rate of £13.45. Confidentiality, reliability and discretion are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide social support to the gentleman in his home.
• accompany outings to golf or fishing, and to appointments.
• Assist with personal care, medications, and preparing meals or drinks as required.

To cover when other staff are on A/L, off sick or have an emergency

Location: Cumnock

Personal Assistant / Companion required to provide social support to a gentleman in Cumnock.

The gentleman is very independent. He has a wheelchair which he only uses when necessary. He uses oxygen and may at times now feel up to going out, therefore companionship within his howe

To provide social support, accompanying the gentleman on outings to golf / fishing weather permitting and to appointments. As well as other social activities

At times to assist with personal care, medication, making a meal / sandwich / drink

Full Drivers licence required, as will have to drive the employer’s vehicle if he is unwell.
