Job summary

ACESGroup is expanding its Event Security team and is looking for professional, customer-focused Casual Security Officers to work across Sydney's largest and most exciting events.

Shifts are available throughout the year for major concerts, festivals and sports events. Availability for New Year's Eve is mandatory; candidates unavailable on 31 December will not be considered.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence required.
• RSA Competency Card required.
• Availability for New Year’s Eve is essential.

About the Role

ACESGroup is expanding its Event Security team and is looking for professional, customer-focused Casual Security Officers to work across some of Sydney's largest and most exciting events.

With a busy calendar of major concerts, music festivals, sporting events, cultural festivals, community celebrations and iconic public events, including New Year's Eve, we have shifts available throughout the year.

As an Event Security Guard, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff and performers. Duties include:

• Crowd management and customer service
• Access control and credential checking
• Bag inspections and security screening
• Monitoring patron behaviour and responding to incidents
• Emergency response and evacuation assistance
• Working closely with event organisers, venue management and emergency services

To be successful, you must have:

• Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence (Essential)
• Availability to work New Year's Eve (Essential)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional presentation and a positive attitude
• Physical stamina to remain alert and active for long periods, often outdoors
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work across various Sydney locations
