Job summary

ACESGroup in Sydney is seeking proactive Visitor Services Rangers to work across metropolitan Sydney. The role involves outdoor patrols, public-facing duties, and ensuring safety at iconic locations. NSW 1A Security Licence (12 months) and RSA/Card, First Aid/CPR are essential.

Full-time positions are available in Sydney CBD, Centennial Park, Parramatta Park, and Homebush; casual roles across Sydney. Training and career progression are offered, with access to RTO programs and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• NSW 1A Security Licence in NSW for at least 12 months.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current RSA Competency Card.
• Customer service experience.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Australian Concert & Entertainment Security – Sydney NSW

Would you like to work outdoors in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? Do you want to work at some nationally recognised locations? We are seeking proactive, professional Visitor Services Rangers to join our team across metropolitan Sydney. With multiple workplace environments available, you’ll find a role that suits your skills and ambitions.

This position is ideal for Security Officers who take pride in responsibility, situational awareness, and delivering high-quality service. You will be actively involved in maintaining safety, protecting assets, and ensuring smooth operations across a variety of sites.

Please note that this role requires a valid NSW 1A Security Licence, held for a minimum of 12 months. (GSP does not require a minimum 12 months).

Full-time roles are available in the Sydney CBD, Centennial Park and Parramatta Park (GSP), and Homebush areas. Casual roles are available across the Sydney CBD and Greater Sydney.

Responsibilities and Duties

Patrols & Site Security

• Provide high-quality visitor and security services in accordance with client requirements and internal standards
• Protect physical assets through regular pedestrian and vehicle patrols
• Observe facilities to reduce risk and maintain public safety
• Monitor and guide the behaviour of people in public and private spaces
• Manage facility access control

Technology & Reporting

• Operate and utilise ACESGroup’s technology platforms to support site safety and reporting
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports through digital systems
• Prepare general security records and reports

Customer Service & Response

• Deliver excellent visitor customer service, including direction and information
• Respond to incidents as a first responder
• Collaborate with team members and management to enhance operational efficiency

Essential Criteria

Applicants must have:

• NSW 1A Security Licence, held for at least 12 months
• Full NSW Driver Licence (GSP only requires a P Licence)
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
• Customer service experience
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional personal presentation
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
• Ability to pass an LLND (Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital) test

The following are also required, or willingness to obtain:

• SEINS
• Traffic Control and Implement Traffic Management Plan certificates/cards
• White Card
• Fire Warden and Confine Small Emergencies
• Working With Children Check
