Job summary

POP MART is expanding across Australia and is opening a brand-new Highpoint store in Melbourne. We are hiring Casual Sales Associates to join the team from mid-July 2026. This fast‑paced retail environment suits those who enjoy customer interaction, pop culture, and collectibles.

You will deliver great customer experiences, share product knowledge, help with stock replenishment, and support store operations during peak periods. Fluent English is required; Mandarin is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Full permanent working rights in Australia required.
• Ability to commit to permanent full-time availability during peak periods.
• Interest in pop culture and collectibles a plus.

What You’ll Do

Deliver Great Customer Experience

• Engage customers confidently and provide friendly, energetic service
• Share product knowledge and introduce new collections
• Support sales targets through upselling and cross-selling

Maintain Store Standards

• Replenish stock and maintain strong visual merchandising
• Keep the store clean, organised and customer-ready
• Support deliveries, stock counts and inventory accuracy

Support Daily Store Operations

• Process transactions accurately through POS
• Follow store procedures and loss prevention measures
• Support product launches and peak trading periods

Who You Are

• We’re looking for people who are:
• Confident and customer-focused communicators
• Passionate about retail, pop culture or collectibles
• Energised by fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Reliable, positive and able to stay composed during busy periods
• Quick learners with strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English (Mandarin/Chinese highly regarded)

Availability Requirements (Important)

• Flexible availability (must be available at least one weekend day, and one of the late-night trades on Thursday or Friday)
• Typical rosters include weekends and late shifts
• Able to work shopping centre hours
• Open availability during peak season November to January each year

Important Dates - New Store opening

Successful candidates will need to be fully available to support the set up and grand opening of our new store:

• Grand opening 24th July
• Set up period from 20th July
