Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) in Sutherland is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse to work across AM, PM and Night shifts. You’ll provide care across residents, with focus on assessing and planning.

You’ll develop personal care plans, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to ACFI claims while working in a supportive multidisciplinary team. AHPRA Registration required; prior aged care experience desirable.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Experience in residential aged care desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial and ongoing assessment, planning, and management of nursing care for residents.
• Develop personal care plans to identify and meet residents' needs and monitor changes.
• Participate in quarterly care plan evaluations and other required reviews.
• Ensure documentation for quality care is up to date in line with SCC policies.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of all ACFI claims.
