Job summary

Wellways is seeking a Casual Wellbeing Worker based in Bairnsdale, VIC, to perform intake and assessment duties within our Psychosocial Support Services. You will engage participants, coordinate referrals and support group activities to promote recovery and community living.

Requirements include a Diploma or relevant mental health experience, a current Driver’s Licence, and mandatory checks (WWCC, NDIS, Police).

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or relevant experience in Mental Health.
• Current valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day intake and assessment for Gippsland region.
• Support referrals to services for clients identified as hard to reach.
• Screen for eligibility for NDIS programs and promote coordination of care.
