Job summary

ACH Group, based in Adelaide's southwestern suburbs, seeks Casual Personal Trainers to deliver exercise services across community health studios, in-home services and residential care homes. Shifts vary by availability, with more hours during the Nov 2026–Feb 2027 holiday period.

Under the guidance of an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, you’ll lead sessions, help older people stay active and work within a multidisciplinary team to support wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in Personal Training or Exercise Science qualification.
• Current driver’s license and reliable access to own car.
• Ability to travel to customer homes and ACH Group locations in Adelaide’s southwestern suburbs.
• Strong communication, engagement and motivational skills.
• Ability to follow clinical direction and work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Genuine passion for supporting older people to live a Good Life.
• Satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check (no older than 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Support customers to work towards health, mobility and fitness goals through tailored activities.
• Deliver individual and group exercise sessions under supervision of an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist.
• Assist with engaging programs that help older people stay active and independent.
• Observe responses and communicate information to supervising clinicians.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team.
• Build positive relationships with customers, families and health professionals.
• Champion healthy and active ageing across ACH Group.
