Job summary

ARRCS is seeking a qualified Personal Care Worker to join the Home Care team in Katherine, NT. This casual, ad hoc role involves in‑home care, personal support, mobility assistance, and meal support for clients, with shifts offered as available.

Travel to clients’ homes is required, and a fully insured vehicle is necessary. Applicants should have experience in Aged or Disability care and be capable of working within My Aged Care funding plans while upholding high standards of customer service

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability or Home and Community Care
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a home care setting and travel to clients’ homes

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including grooming, showering and mobility assistance
• Assist with meals and daily living activities
• Perform domestic tasks such as cleaning and bed making
• Support clients with social activities and appointments
• Travel to clients’ homes using a fully insured vehicle
