Zusammenfassung

ARRCS is seeking a Personal Care Worker for Home Care in Katherine on a casual, ad hoc basis. You will travel to clients’ homes to deliver personalised care, including grooming, mobility assistance, meals and light household tasks. A valid vehicle and a caring, customer-focused approach are essential.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Aged Care or related field; experience in Aged or Disability care is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this vacancy.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Care, Disability or Home and Community Care.
• Preference given to applicants who completed the ‘Assist Clients with Medication’ elective.
• Hold or willing to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate to the standard of 3.2.2A.

Aufgaben

• Travel to people’s homes to provide care and support.
• Provide personal care including grooming, showering, mobility and assisting with meals.
• Undertake cleaning, bed making and assisting with social support, appointments and shopping.
