Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Casual Merchandise team member in Mitchell, QLD. The role involves delivering excellent customer service in-store and over the phone, processing sales, and supporting stock movements and store operations on a busy, on-site basis.

You will engage with local farmers and retail customers, maintain stock accuracy, and help keep the store welcoming and safe. An interest in agriculture and a current driver’s licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, retail, sales support or merchandise environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to use basic computer tools (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Current driver’s licence and interest in agriculture or rural communities.

• Performing general administrative duties, including stock control and inventory management.

• Loading and unloading trucks, unpacking deliveries and preparing customer orders.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Merchandise Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers, building strong relationships and supporting the day-to-day operations of our Mitchell branch. Our customers range from local farmers and primary producers to trade and retail customers, and you'll be the friendly face that helps ensure every interaction is a positive one.

In this hands-on role, you'll be involved in a variety of activities, including:
