Job summary

Kenmore Clinics, a busy general practice in Brisbane, is seeking a friendly, organised Medical Receptionist for a casual role (~20-25 hours per week). You will welcome patients, handle calls, schedule appointments and keep accurate records using Best Practice software.

We value patient care, teamwork and a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. The ideal candidate will have medical reception experience and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous medical reception experience in a general practice is preferred.
• Experience using Best Practice or other medical software is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service focused on patient care.
• Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment with accuracy.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with friendly, professional service.
• Managing incoming and outgoing calls and patient enquiries.
• Scheduling appointments and supporting daily operations.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using medical software.
• Completing general administrative duties and data processing.
• Assisting with opening/closing procedures and reception duties.
• Collaborating with doctors, nurses, receptionists and management.
