Job summary

Royal Automobile Club Sydney is seeking casual Food & Beverage Attendants to deliver premium hospitality across our restaurants, bars, rooftop, weddings and events in Sydney. You will greet guests, serve beverages and meals, manage orders at POS, and maintain high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Current RSA certification (mandatory)
• Food and wine service experience (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional environment

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards
• Assist with table setup and pack down
• Greet and engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas
• Operate POS systems and manage transactions
• Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with RSA guidelines
• Support event operations as needed
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately
• Cocktail functions - making cocktails and serving alcohol
• Self-motivated, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Our clubhouse is a grand, eight-storey, state heritage-listed building located just steps from Circular Quay.

Founded in 1903, the Royal Automobile Club of Australia (RACA), incorporating the Imperial Service Club, is a prestigious members-only club with a rich heritage in motoring and a vibrant calendar of events, interest groups, and social activities.

As we prepare for a very busy summer season, our Food & Beverage team is expanding! We are seeking enthusiastic and service-focused individuals to join us in delivering premium hospitality experiences across our restaurants, bars, rooftop, weddings and event spaces.

Your Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the welcoming face of our hospitality team, ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our members and guests.

What we are Looking For

We are seeking team players who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Confident discussing menu items and ingredients (RACA training provided)
• Current RSA certification (mandatory)
• Excellent personal presentation and hygiene
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Food and wine service experience (essential)
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Passion for enhancing the guest experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Rates of Pay (Club Employee Casuals): Level 2 and Level 3 with loadings

(Level 2) Mon-Fri $33.85, Sat $40.62, Sun $47.39 Public holidays $67.70

(Level 3) Mon-Fri $34.96, Sat $41.96, Sun $47.39 Public holidays $69.93

Rotating roster - Monday to Saturday. Morning and evening work up to 35 hours p/w
