Job summary

Mount Isa is seeking a Casual Function and Event Support Officer to provide exceptional customer service at functions and events in Mount Isa. The role is casual, with an hourly package and casual loading. You will support event operations, manage customer needs, and work within a small team to ensure smooth function delivery.

Desirable qualifications include a current C-class manual driver's licence and RSA. Experience in similar roles is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills including the ability to deal with customer complaints.
• Sound organisational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and food preparation guidelines.
• Ability to work well in a small team environment.
• Experience in an equivalent position desirable.
• Current “C” class manual Driver’s Licence or ability to acquire a licence prior to commencement desirable.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) desirable.
