Job summary

Busy Bees Woodend in Woodend, VIC, is seeking a passionate Casual Educator to support our team at 72 East Street. You will help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn, while upholding Busy Bees’ values.

Flexibility to work across shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday, and opportunities for ongoing learning and development are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS).

You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do
