Job summary

Busy Bees Global is seeking a Casual Educator in Woodend, VIC, offering an hourly rate of $38.71–$47.68. The role supports play-based learning, child safety, and inclusive care within Busy Bees at Woodend (72 East Street, Woodend, VIC 3442). It is a casual position across shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will contribute to EYLF activities, build strong relationships with children and families, and help maintain NQS standards in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the NQS.

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Woodend , located at 72 East Street, Woodend, VIC, 3442 , on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children

• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members

• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children

• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Working with Children Check for VIC

• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded

• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
