Job summary

Busy Bees Australia Employer Pty Ltd is hiring a Casual Educator for Busy Bees at Geelong West, VIC. The role involves supporting play-based learning, ensuring safety and inclusivity, and fostering strong relationships with children, families and teammates.

Flexibility across shifts 6:30am–6:30pm, with required certifications and WWCC. Be part of a global early learning provider focused on quality care and child safety.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or currently working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF.
• Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the NQS.

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Geelong West, VIC

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Geelong West, located at 151 Church Street, Geelong West VIC 3218, on a casual basis.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
