Job summary

Busy Bees at Blakeview, located at 5 Main Terrace, Blakeview SA 5114, is hiring a Casual Educator to support a safe, nurturing and engaging early learning environment. You’ll help deliver play-based learning and responsive routines.

The role requires a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards), current First Aid/CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain), and a SA Working with Children Check.

• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the NQS.

We're seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Blakeview, located at 5 Main Terrace, Blakeview SA 5114, on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for SA
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
