Job summary

Busy Bees Trafalgar is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team at Busy Bees Trafalgar, 20 Settlement Road, Trafalgar VIC 3824. The role supports safe, nurturing, and engaging learning in a busy early-years setting.

You will deliver play-based experiences, foster inclusive environments, and build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, while supporting routines and maintaining high standards under the EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded.

Casual Educator | $38.71 – $47.68 per hour | Trafalgar, VIC

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Trafalgar , located at 20 Settlement Road, Trafalgar VIC 3824 , on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)


• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children


• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members


• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children


• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values


• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)


• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)


• Current Working with Children Check for VIC


• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded


• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
