Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Cranbourne, located at 1280 Thompsons Road, Cranbourne VIC 3977.

You will help implement engaging play-based learning, maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and build strong relationships with children and families while supporting daily routines and supervision across shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Gecko, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications are required or willing to obtain.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) for VIC is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of play-based learning aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team.
• Support daily routines, activities and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards with NQS.

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Cranbourne , located at 1280 Thompsons Road, Cranbourne VIC 3977 , on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)


• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children


• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members


• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children


• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values


• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (no working towards)


• Current First Aid, CPR, Gecko, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)


• Valid Working with Children Check (Employee) for VIC


• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded


• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
