Job summary

Busy Bees Moonee Ponds is seeking a casual Educator to support play-based learning in a safe, nurturing environment. You’ll help implement EYLF, support daily routines, and build strong relationships with children and families.

You’ll need a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or be enrolled), current First Aid/CPR, and a VIC Working with Children Check. Flexible across shifts 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, in Moonee Ponds.

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to child safety and well-being.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or currently/working towards).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience working as an Educator in Australia is highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work across shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.

We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Casual Educator to support our team at Busy Bees at Moonee Valley , located at 28 Thomas Street, Moonee Ponds VIC 3039 , on a casual basis. You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and inspired to learn.

What you’ll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children

• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members

• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children

• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you’ll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
