Job summary

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is seeking Casual Educators to support shift fill across our Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres throughout Townsville.

Our Townsville services operate 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, with casual shifts up to 37.5 hours per week depending on service needs and your availability. You will be a valued Educator creating an inclusive, engaging environment where children can thrive.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement.
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support shift fill across Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres Townsville.
• Create an inclusive, engaging and supportive environment where every child can thrive and flourish.

Education

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

First Aid Certification (incl. CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis)

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

About the position

MMCNQ is currently seeking Casual Educators to support shift fill across our Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres throughout Townsville.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Working towards, or holding, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• Understanding and knowledge of National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place Framework
• Passion and dedication to provide the highest standard of care for our children and families
