Job summary

Majella Long Day Care, part of Catholic Early EdCare, is seeking casual educators to provide high-quality care and education. You'll work across our 85-place service, building warm relationships with children, families, and the team while supporting play-based learning in line with EYLF.

We value flexibility and teamwork, with opportunities for varied shifts and rooms. A supportive environment and commitment to child safety underpin our everyday work.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA approved) or currently working towards a qualification.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Understanding of early childhood legislation, standards, and quality frameworks.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Completed Child Safety Training certificate and First Aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children across our learning environments.
• Build positive, respectful, and nurturing relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Support play-based learning in line with EYLF and ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Observe and support children's learning and development throughout the day.
• Assist with daily routines including meals, rest times, and transitions.
