Majella Long Day Care, part of Catholic Early EdCare, in Chermside West is seeking passionate Casual Educators to support learning, development, and wellbeing within a nurturing team. The role offers flexibility, varied daily routines, and the chance to contribute to a positive centre culture.

You will work across rooms, assist with meals and routines, and help deliver play-based learning aligned with EYLF, while building strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or ACECQA approved) or currently working towards a qualification.
• Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• Understanding of Early Childhood legislation, standards and quality frameworks.

Responsabilités

A Day in the Life of a Casual Educator

• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and supportive centre culture.
• Promote the service in line with Catholic Early EdCare's philosophy and values.
• Adapt to different rooms and routines as required.

What We're Looking For

• Completed Child Safety Training certificate.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and confidently adapt to changing daily needs.
• Completion ofChild Safety Courses 1 & 2(mandatory), Courses 3 & 4highly regarded.
