Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Queensland is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team. You will support children across our centres, contribute to the learning program and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

Flexibility is essential: availability on Thursdays and Fridays, travel between local services, and a 6 am–6 pm window. An ACECQA-approved qualification and a valid Working with Children Check are required.

Qualifications

• ACEQCA-approved early childhood qualification (ACECQA) is required.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Willingness to travel between local Goodstart services and flexible availability (Mon-Fri, 6am–6pm).

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the educational program in the room and the centre team.
• Engage and supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
