Job summary

Goodstart Horsham is seeking a Casual Educator to support our centres and children. You will contribute to the education program, supervise children, and help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

You may travel between local Goodstart services with flexible availability Monday to Friday, 6:00am–6:45pm, and enjoy above-award wages plus casual leave loading and benefits.

Qualifications

• As a Casual Educator you are flexible to support multiple centres and child-focused learning.
• Ability to travel between local Goodstart services and adjust to changing shifts.
• Commitment to safety, inclusivity and child-centred learning.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engage and supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build strong relationships with children and families.
• Adhere to National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Location: Horsham, Western Victoria 3400, land of the Wotjobaluk, Wergaia, Jupagalk, Jaadwa and Jadawadjali people

Centre: Goodstart Horsham

Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 6:45pm

Pay: $42.88 - $48.29 per hour + Superannuation + Benefits
