Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Mount Gambier is seeking a Casual Educator to join our supportive team. The role offers flexible hours within 6:30am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday, across multiple local centres to support children’s learning and development.

You will contribute to the room education program, supervise children, ensure safety, and help maintain a positive learning environment. Relevant qualifications and a current Working with Children Check are required.

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved early childhood qualification required.
• Current SA Working with Children Check required.
• Willingness to travel between local services and work across multiple centres.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
