Job summary

Affinity Disability Services in Ipswich, QLD is seeking a Disability Support Worker for casual shifts in Ipswich and surrounding suburbs. You will support participants in line with care plans and NDIA goals, helping with daily living tasks and community participation.

Ideal candidates will have Cert III in Disabilities or a related area, a current Blue card and Yellow card or ability to obtain these, a valid Queensland driver's licence with insurance, and up-to-date First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• For role in disability support, requires compassionate and client‑focused approach.
• Ability to support participants with NDIA goals and care plans.
• Must be able to perform personal care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to participants according to care plans.
• Undertake personal care duties including cleaning, laundry and meal prep.
• Support social and community participation and transport if required.

Do you have a passion for working with people with a disability and/or mental health concerns? Affinity Disability Servicesare looking for Disability Support Workers to join our team in Ipswich.

Your Role

As a Disability Support Worker you will be supporting themost important people in our organisation - our participants.

Your tasks may include:

Providing the very best care and support to participants in line with their care plans and NDIS goals.

Undertake personal care duties which may include cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and social and community participation.

Provide support duties which may include shopping, transport etc
