Unisson Disability is seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to provide 1:1 community and day program support from Lane Cove, focusing on independence and social participation.

You will implement Behaviour Support Plans, support participants with complex needs, and transport them safely in a company vehicle, with flexible hours 9:00am–3:00pm. We offer salary packaging, wellbeing leave, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to motivate participants and support independence.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to achieve individual goals.
• Deliver active support promoting independence and choice.
• Assist in building social connections and community participation.
• Implement Behaviour Support Plans and BSP strategies.
• Safely support participants with behaviours of concern.
• Provide safe transport to activities using a company vehicle.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the support team.
