Job summary

Confeeki Care PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a reliable Disability Support Worker to join our casual team. You will assist participants with daily living, personal care, community access and transport, and support routines and independence across SIL, respite and community settings.

We welcome staff with a general understanding of disability support, a current First Aid/CPR, a valid driver's license, and WWC where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support or strong understanding of the role.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check completed.
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Working With Children Check where applicable.
• Ability to stay calm and follow support strategies in challenging situations.
• Willingness to learn participant-specific training.
• Ability to work sleepovers, weekends and flexible shifts.
• Reliable and committed to consistent ongoing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and daily living support
• Community access and transport
• Medication assistance and documentation
• Supporting routines, meal preparation and household tasks
• Accurate shift notes and incident reporting
• Following Behaviour Support Plans and participant-specific strategies
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviours of concern
• Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and the wider support team
• Maintaining professional boundaries, confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities
