NRMA Parks and Resorts Strahan Village is hiring casual Commis Chefs to join the team for the busy summer season in Strahan, TAS. Commit for at least six months including Christmas and New Year, with staff accommodation available and welcome applications from couples.

You will work across our venues, producing high-quality dishes, maintaining safety standards, and supporting a busy kitchen team in a scenic Tasmanian setting.

Qualifikationen

• Formal qualifications in commercial cookery.
• DoFoodSafely certificate of completion.
• Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations.
• A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work productively in a fast-paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in a short period of time.
• Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• Cook, bake, pastry cooking or butchering duties as required to a consistently high standard.
• Assist with maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen area and equipment.
• Assist with the training of Kitchen Attendant staff
