Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care in Morwell VIC is seeking a motivated Casual Chef to provide meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs and preferences. You will ensure compliance with the Food Safety Program and support dining services across the residence.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, a Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate, and a Commercial Cookery Certificate III/IV, with experience in residential aged care catering and menu planning.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate required.
• Commercial Cookery Certificate III/IV with relevant experience in residential care.
• Experience with menu planning and special diets.

Responsibilities

• Produce meals meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Follow recipe cards and defined menus in a timely manner.
• Support food safety program compliance and day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with stock inventory and meals delivery across dining areas.
• Support function planning and events within the residence.
