Job summary

Palm Lake Care Bethania is seeking an experienced Chef to join our hospitality team on a casual basis. You’ll deliver nutritious, high-quality meals and an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. Weekend and public holiday shifts are available with penalty rates.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years as a Chef, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, and a Current Food Safety Certificate. You’ll lead kitchen staff, ensure health and safety and support dietary requirements under

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present nutritious meals per approved menus.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Manage special diets and resident dietary requirements.
• Monitor wastage, portion control, and stock rotation.
• Liaise with Chef Manager on feedback and menus.
• Support in staff supervision and kitchen administration.
