Minor Hotels in NSW is seeking a casual Chef de Partie to support our Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat. You will prepare and plate meals to brand standards, work with a dedicated kitchen team, and help manage rosters and stock.

This role offers flexibility across breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with weekend and public holiday shifts. The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Cookery, hotel/restaurant experience, and a genuine passion for cooking.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery required.
• Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work across all service periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, following recipes.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plate and present dishes to meet brand standards.
• Assist the Chef in Charge with rostering.
• Oversee stock control and safe storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas.
