Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort, part of Minor Hotels, is seeking a casual Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team in NSW. The role focuses on high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, with duties spanning from cooking to rostering support and stock control.

You will work across breakfast, lunch and dinner on a rotating roster, with part-time or full-time options depending on needs. Casual hourly rates are outlined, reflecting the flexible nature of the position.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Cookery is required.
• Previous hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures and methods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and passion for cooking.
• Flexibility to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking meals to the highest standard following recipes.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure plating meets brand standards and presentation quality.
• Assist Chef in Charge with rostering.
• Oversee stock control and proper storage of food and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen areas and equipment.
• Contribute to development of menu items with Head Chef.
