Qualifications

• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disability.
• Knowledge of transitioning students into mainstream settings.
• Certificate III in Education Support or other relevant tertiary qualification (desirable).
• NSW Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Tailor learning environments to individual student needs using evidence-informed autism practices.
• Collaborate with professionals (psychologist, speech therapists, occupational therapists) to deliver quality learning programs.
• Support students with learning, social skills, personal hygiene and behaviour supports.
