Job summary

Lives Lived Well is seeking casual AOD Support Workers for Binbi Yadubay Residential Treatment Service near Rockhampton. You will support residents through a six-week program, assist with admissions and daily activities, and help with group activities and outings.

A compassionate, patient approach and strong teamwork are essential. The role requires a current Australian Driver Licence, willingness to obtain a National Police Check, and First Aid/CPR certification (or to obtain).

Qualifications

• Must have compassionate, non-judgemental approach and be committed to helping residents.
• Current Australian Driver Licence is required.
• Ability to obtain National Police Check.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Hold or work towards Certificate IV in AOD, Mental Health or related field.
• Availability to work weekends and sleepover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support residents throughout their recovery journey.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and daily activities.
• Support group activities and community outings.
• Maintain accurate client notes and handovers.
• Create a safe, welcoming and recovery-focused environment.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
