Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Casual Agitator Driver at our Bundaberg Concrete Plant. You will operate modern trucks, deliver concrete to customers, and join a safety‑minded team with comprehensive training.

Expect 4–8 hours daily with occasional Saturday shifts, overtime pay, and 25% casual loading plus superannuation. We offer a 10‑day training program for all new starters and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence with driving experience.
• Possess a Construction White Card or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.
• Strong people skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing.

No two days are the same, and you'll interact with a wide range of people while delivering high-quality concrete to our customers.

Why This Role?

• Casual Agitator Driver based out of our Bundaberg Concrete Plant.


• Hourly rate: $32.61 to $37.90 (depending on experience) + 25% casual loading + superannuation + overtime.


• Expecting 4-8 hours per day (pending workload), including Saturday shifts when needed.


• Overtime: time and a half after 8 hours, double time after 10 hours.


• Operate modern, well-maintained trucks featuring advanced safety technology, route mapping, and load tracking.


• Enjoy daily variety and interact with a wide range of people while delivering high-quality products.


• 10-day comprehensive training program for all new starters.

About You

• Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence with previous driving experience (preferred but not essential).


• Possess a current Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one prior to starting.


• Strong people skills with a safety-first mindset.


• Pride in your ride - keeping your truck clean and presentable is important.


• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
