Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Port Douglas, QLD, is seeking an Agitator Driver to deliver high-quality concrete with modern trucks and safety technology. You will join a supportive team and work in a role with 50+ hours weekly and Saturday shifts available.

The role includes a comprehensive 10-day training program, overtime paid at standard rates, and a meal allowance after long shifts. HR licence and White Card are preferred, and pre-employment medical checks are required.

Qualifications

• HR driver with prior driving experience preferred.
• Construction White Card or willingness to obtain before start.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver concrete to customers using modern, well-maintained trucks integrated with safety tech.
• Operate trucks with route mapping and load tracking systems to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain the truck clean and presentable, upholding company standards.

About You

Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence with previous driving experience (preferred but not essential).

Possess a current Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one prior to starting.

Strong people skills with a safety-first mindset.

Pride in your ride – keeping your truck clean and presentable is important.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
