Job summary

Bene Aged Care in the Adelaide Hills is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join the St Pauls Residential Facility on a casual basis. You will deliver person-centred clinical care, monitor residents, administer medications, and mentor care staff to uphold high standards.

Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration, experience in aged care, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work night or day shifts.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting.
Ability to work independently, particularly during night duty.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
Monitor residents' health and respond to clinical needs during night and morning shifts.
Administer medications, manage wound care, and complete accurate clinical documentation.
Provide leadership and clinical oversight to care staff on shift.
Support and mentor Care Workers to ensure best practice standards are maintained.
Foster a safe, calm, and respectful environment for residents.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external health professionals.
Collaborate with the broader clinical team to support holistic care planning.
