Job summary

Life Without Barriers is seeking casual Aged Care Home & Community Assistants in Adelaide. You will support older Australians in their homes, travel between client locations, and work flexible weekday shifts with 2-hour minimums. Training is provided, and a driver’s licence with access to a vehicle is preferred. Kilometre reimbursement and benefits are offered.

The role is ideal for anyone starting a career in care, with opportunities to progress into personal care as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required — full training and ongoing support provided.
• Certificate III in General/Ageing Support or similar is advantageous.
• Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with domestic tasks in clients' homes (light cleaning and meal prep).
• Provide social support and companionship to clients.
• Build positive relationships with clients and families.
• Support clients to maintain independence and wellbeing.
