Job summary

Wesley Mission’s Families Together program in Penrith, NSW, is seeking dedicated caseworkers to support vulnerable families. This permanent full-time role emphasizes child wellbeing, mandatory reporting, and collaborative, evidence-based practice within a Christian organisation.

You will work with CALD and Aboriginal families, maintain safety plans, and travel across Western Sydney to deliver services. A NSW Driver’s Licence and WWCC are required, with opportunities for supervision, training,

Qualifications

• University qualifications in social work or related fields with commitment to ongoing training and learning opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to apply evidence-based practice in child protection contexts.
• Experience with mandatory reporter guidelines and safety planning with families.
• Ability to travel across Western Sydney, Nepean and Hawkesbury regions.
• WWCC clearance or eligibility and a valid Working with Children Check.
