Job summary

Allianz Australia is seeking a Case Manager for Personal Injury & Commercial claims in Brisbane, QLD. You will manage a CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation, collaborating with claimants, lawyers, rehabilitation advisors, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong communication, negotiation, and the ability to interpret and apply legislation while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven para-legal or personal injury experience preferred.
• Experience in insurance claims, especially CTP/personal injury, is desirable.
• Ability to interpret legislation and explain complex terms clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage own CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation.

About The Role

• Manage your own CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation
• Build effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, rehabilitation advisors and medical professionals, to drive successful rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
• Assess claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
• Assess and manage injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding CTP benefits, treatment and rehabilitation and interpret medical reports.
• Review treatment requests and organise investigations into claims with a focus on proactive claims management
• Make settlement offers, attend informal and settlement conferences to progress claims towards finalisation
• Attend conferences with counsel, expert witnesses, and lawyers

About You

• Proven para-legal or personal injury experience a preference
• Insurance claims experience (preferably in CTP/Personal Injury) and qualifications in Law, Insurance, Medical, Allied Health, or related fields
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to simplify technical legal terms for customers
• Genuine customer-focused approach, with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Capability to manage a target-driven caseload, perform effectively under high-pressure conditions, and meet deadlines
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
