Hospitality NationPty Ltd is a leading construction company based in Queensland. We specialize in building high-quality homes and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry duties such as building frameworks, installing sub-flooring, attaching exterior cladding, and finishing interior fixtures.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Inspect and repair wood structures and fixtures for damage or wear
• Select and order materials and supplies needed for projects
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods of time
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or above, preferably in residential construction
• Additional certifications or licenses in carpentry or related fields are a plus

Salary and Benefits

• Salary range of $73150 - $80000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
