Urban Sector Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to lead on residential and commercial projects across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan regions. You will manage carpentry tasks, coordinate subcontractors and ensure on-site quality and safety.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of carpentry experience, strong leadership and client-focused communication, with current HR or Blue Card as desired. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualificações

• Trade-certified carpenter with at least 5 years on residential and commercial sites.
• Strong time management, organisation and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Perform everyday carpentry duties: framing, fixout, flooring, etc.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors on site.
• Plan and schedule activities and allocate resources.
• Manage site hours and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with contractors for orders and work delivery.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate with client, PM, construction manager, and suppliers as needed.

You will bring ahigh level of professionalism, maturity and customer service to lead our team on current and future projects.

This position is ideally suited to someone with strong carpentry and leading hand experience and will have a wide and varied remit that is well suited to an enthusiastic, reliable, honest and highly customer focused based individual to manage various projects and contractors.

Requirements

• Relevant carpentry trade
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience working on residential and commercial sites
• Certificate IV Building (desirable, but not required)
• Excellent time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strongcommunications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task with a proactive mindset
• Current valid driverslicense& ability to travel as required
• HR License (desirable, but not required)
• Blue Card required as an extensive amount of our work is within schools

Duties

• Everyday general carpentry duties, Framing, Fixout, Flooring etc
• Management of other subcontractors
• Scheduling & planning
• Manage resource hours on site
• Monitor and report onprogress
• Work closely with contractors for order delivery and work to be undertaken
• Ensure safe work policy and procedure adherence
• Communicate with Client, PM Construction Manager, Suppliers etc. as Required
